Nazism and the Rise of Hitler

Nazism (National Socialism; German: Nationalsozialismus) is a set of political beliefs associated with the Nazi Party of Germany. It started in the 1920s. Party gained power in 1933, starting the Third Reich. They lasted in Germany until 1945, at the end of World War II.

Introduction

May 1945 it is the time period when the First World War tended to over and Germany surrendered to Allies. Basically, allies consist of UK, FRANCE and in 1941 two new members (USA, USSR) joined allies to defeat axis power countries. In axis power, Germany Italy and Japan fought together against allies. Under World War II, Germany faces a lot of massacres that also termed as a genocidal war in which over 6million Jews, 200,000 gypsies, disabled, civilians and political opponents suffered.

History

In first world war(1914-1918), when Austrian empire had a war with allies (England, France, Russia)ultimately they defeated the war when the USA joined the war in 1917 after which allies put a heavy amount of taxes on Germany due to which all the resources of the country would tend to deplete. As after the war, the national assembly met the Weimar Republic to establish a democratic constitution. Allies put peace Treaty at Versailles in which Germany would blame for destroying the harmony and wastage of various sources. In this treaty, Germany lost its colonies which they acquire during their colonial rule, one-tenth of the population, 75% of iron, 26% coal gave to France, Poland, Denmark, and Lithuania. Allies take 6 billion of the amount to recover the sources. These all are the consequence to form the new Weimar Republic.

Effects of War

Germany shattered psychologically as well as financially, that moment was supposed to the as everything has looted by various countries. Moreover, internal disturbances were also there like Socialist, Catholics, and Democrats support Weimar. So they have been attacked by the conservative nationalist. This event is termed as “NOVEMBER CRIMINALS”. As time passes on the Weimar Republic coincides with Bolshevicks (Spartacist league). They demand the Soviet-style governance so they may be opposed by various socialist, Catholics and Democrats. It has been crushed by the Weimar republic thus a new form of the communist party would rise in Germany. In 1923, political radicalization would highlightened by the economic crises because their sources were almost depleted. The currency of Germany decreases while people imparted with high tax revenue so they refuse to pay it. This is the period of HYPERINFLATION in Germany.

The Great Depressions Years

During 1929-30, the Wall Street exchange in the USA was like the share markets in present. So that time 13 million shares were sold due to which the period of great economic depression starts. During this time the national income of the USA also decreased by half. This is the recession period in the US. On the other hand, in Germany, the industrial population decreases, unemployment increases, agriculture sector income decreases, and business may drop outs. This period shattered the whole economy of Germany from its roots. People lost their confidence in the democratic system.

Hiter Rise To Power and Cause of Death

Hitler was born in 1889 in Austria, moreover, his family faces poverty so his upbringing was full of struggles. Later on, he joined the army and work as a messenger over there. He also got medals for his bravery. In 1919, he joined the German worker’s party later on termed as National socialist German worker’s party. The further party named a NAZI PARTY. He is a great leader, his speech influence a lot of people. He raises for the injustice that was happened in Versailles. He raised several other issues like unemployment. It leads to mass mobilization. They make a red banner over which sign of swastika printed and refered it as the messiah. Nazism, also spelled Naziism, in full National Socialism, German Nationalsozialismus, totalitarian movement led to Adolf Hitler as head of the Nazi Party in Germany. In its intense nationalism, mass appeal, and dictatorial rule, Nazism shared many elements with Italian fascism. However, Nazism was far more extreme both in its ideas and in its practice. In almost every respect it was an anti-intellectual and a theoretical movement, emphasizing the will of the charismatic dictator as the sole source of inspiration of a people and a nation, as well as a vision of annihilation of all enemies of the Aryan Volk as the one and only goal of Nazi policy.

On 30 January 1933, Hitler dismantles the rule of democratic and on 29 Feb of the same year he suspended the freedom of speech. Those who protest against him were sent to concentration camps. On 3rd March 1933, ENABLING ACT was passed in which enforcement of dictatorship starts in Germany. Hitler has all the powers and had complete control over the economy, media, army, Judiciary.

Later on, under the dictatorship of Hitler, there were enhancements as well. Economy speeds up and slows his influence would start felting in other countries as well. In Germany, one people, one empire, one leader imposed. In Sep 1939, Germany invades Poland and after that, the war started. France and England attack Germany. In 1940, Tripartite Pact between Germany, Italy, and Japan was already signed. So they attack the soviet union in June 1941. Japan support hitler and bombed US base at pearl harbor. This was one of the biggest mistakes had done by Japan because after this attack USA entered in war and in 1945 US dropped atom bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki (states of Japan), after this the war ended. And Hitler defeated.
