Morning Speech for Blood Donation Day (14th June) in English for Students
Good morning, respected principal ma’am, teachers and all my dear friends. We all know that in every 3-sec need for blood is throughout the world. Today I would like to tell you the importance of blood donation on blood donation day.
Every year on 14th June we celebrate Blood donation day on the national and global level as well as to commemorate the birthday anniversary of the Karl Landsteiner who was a great scientist and who won the Nobel Prize for his great discovery of the ABO blood group system. This program was first started by WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION, along with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the International Federation of Blood Donor Organizations (IFBDO) and the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) work together to promote world donor day.
This day is celebrated to fulfill the need of blood transfusion and blood products transfusion to the needed person anywhere in the world. Government starts various campaigns to saves more than millions of lives annually and gives a natural smile on the face of blood receiver. I don’t think any work in the world would give us this much satisfaction. Blood transfusion helps those patients who were suffering from numerous life-threatening health disastrous conditions and stimulates them to live longer and quality life. It solves lots of complex medical and surgical procedures all around the world. Usage of urgent blood we can see in the role of caring the women during pre and post-pregnancy. The donated blood is stored in blood banks which may govern by government authorities and used to save lives of severely anemic women, anemic kids, accident victims having excess blood loss, surgical patients, cancerous patients, thalassemia patients, people suffering from hemophilia, sickle cell anemia, blood disorders, blood clotting disorders and many more.
So, at last, I would like to conclude that keep donating blood voluntary basis because it helps so many people and your contribution towards the welfare of society gives you inner peace and sense of satisfaction.
Thank you have a nice day!
